The FAO Ruminant Biosecurity Plan is a worksheet designed to help farms (and those involved in their management) reflect on best practices and identify priority actions to manage biosecurity risks and enhance One Health practices. It is geared toward ruminant farms with cattle, sheep, and goats.

Key components of the planning document include animal health, segregation and grazing management, feed and water sources, animal disease outbreak preparedness, equipment and transportation, waste and slaughter, other animals, farm visitors, and farm workers. The plan could be used as part of a training workshop or to raise awareness of biosecurity at farm and community workshops.
